Appointments

Our goal at the University of Florida Small Animal Hospital is to make our clients’ experience as stress-free as possible.

To make an appointment at the Small Animal Hospital (dogs, cats, birds, reptiles and exotics), please call (352) 392-2235. When you call, a scheduling staff member will assist you. If it is not possible to keep a scheduled appointment, please contact the scheduling staff at least 24 hours in advance. If you are going to arrive late, please contact the scheduling staff as soon as possible.

A referral to the University of Florida Small Animal Hospital can be requested by your veterinarian but is not required to be seen by our clinicians.  We will work closely with your veterinarian if he or she refers you and your pet to our facility. Whether you are visiting us for wellness care, for specialized services or for emergency treatment of your pet, we are here when you need us.
