Appointments
Evaluations for new patients are performed on Monday and Wednesday, however other arrangements may be possible if neither day is convenient to you. After the evaluation, patients will be scheduled according to Dr. Medina’s treatment protocol. Treatments are performed Monday through Friday. Examination
The initial examination fee covers the 1 hour appointment, including comprehensive examination, initial therapeutic modality (laser, PEMF, E-stim) if indicated, individualized home exercise program, DVD and exercise log, and client education. Recheck appointments will be ½ hour and include examination and modification of home exercise program if indicated.

*When referring canine athletes or agility dogs, please ask the owners to video the dog performing the sport, and in particular, the obstacle that is of concern. For example, the dog is “slow through the weaves” or is “knocking bars”. We will evaluate the video in slow motion in order to help identify the cause of lameness, injury, or training deficit.
Underwater treadmill and therapy session packages:
· Single session: $45
· 10 sessions: $375
· 15 sessions: $550
Shock wave therapy**:
· First joint: $300
· Each additional joint or area: $150
· Wounds: $150
**This treatment requires heavy sedation, which is not included in the above prices. Typically, this modality is recommended once every 3-4 weeks for 3 sessions.
Stem cell therapy:
· The estimated cost for anesthesia, surgery for cell collection, FedEx shipment of cells and cell processing by VetStem, sedation for injection, and joint injection is $3,000-3,500.00. We believe that stem cell therapy is part of the multi-modal approach to management of joint disease. Therefore, we require that any patient receiving stem cells also be enrolled in a fitness and rehabilitation (not included in estimate).
