Zoological Medicine Referral Guidelines

To best serve your patients, please note our current referral guidelines for zoological companion animal (exotic) patients:

We are pleased to provide emergency referral and consult services for client-owned pets. However, before sending your clients to Gainesville for emergencies, we require a phone consult with a faculty member at (352) 392-2235.
For non-emergent referral cases, please call a faculty member at (352) 392-2235 to discuss your case.
